An experiment with overdesigning a character. The groundwork I had to make was to give the character a shape, pose and framing device that would help the eye to focus despite the many contrasts and patterns. Then I needed to establish the brighntess of the different parts, so the structure will stay easily identifiable in the end. Then I chose what color those parts could be. To ensure the contrasts are as bold as possible I tried to keep the color neighbours extremely different from each other. I relied on triadic and conplementary contrasts for the most part. The rest was just photobash some patterns on the right spots and coloring them.
